Eat Like Your Ancestors!

Brooklyn restaurant Miriam, which serves Israeli food came up with the ingenious idea of a "biblical feast" menu. Throughout October, the restaurant is offering a special menu inspired by the the Bible's "magnificent, sumptuous, and detailed descriptions of feasts." Owner Rafael Hasid spent months talking to rabbi's and food scholars coming up with a menu that includes Ezekiel Bread, Jacob's Stew, and stuffed figs.
